Bring history to life at the Living History Museum of African American Heroes
Kids of all backgrounds in 1st through 8th grade are invited to celebrate Black History Month by telling about their heroes from African American history! Participants will research the life and accomplishments of their favorite African American hero. Assistance in the research is available from the librarians and the co sponsors of this great event. At the “Living History Museum” on February 27, kids will become their hero! They can wear costumes, bring props, play music: anything that will bring that hero to life to the people who browse through our museum!
