PVLD Kids

January is national Train Your Dog month!  To help recognize this month the Palos Verdes Library District Young Readers Department teamed up with local dog trainer Diane Bassett to provide free information about dog training to our young readers. 

The weekly Wednesday evening story time, Pillow Tales, became Dog Tales on January 20 and librarian, Marisa Perley,  presented stories and songs about dogs for our young attendees.  Storytime was followed by a demonstration of dog training tips and practices by trainer, Diane Bassett, and her wonderful dog, Toby.  Children and parents enjoyed talking with Diane, asking questions about their pets, and interacting with Toby.
