Bollywood Night was tight!
Tue, Apr 27, 2010
OK, it was a little cold and started out windy, and I know next time we do something on the roof I’ll bring my snuggi. Hopefully you all drank chai and ate some spicy food to keep you warm, like I did. Everyone kept the mehndi artist busy getting henna tattoos (thanks Vaishali!), several people worked on a beautiful rangoli sand painting, lots of you tried the snacks and drinks and downward dog was appreciated by everyone who tried the yoga (thanks Shelagh for leading us). To top it off, Bride and Prejudice was great. I hadn’t seen the movie before, but the combination of colors, music, dancing (and Naveen Andrews!) makes it for sures I’ll be putting more Bollywood movies in my Netflix que.
Check out the pics and let us know if you’d like to try more nights like this. Meanwhile, check your email. Someone won a Borders gift card for filling out an evaluation form on Bollywood Night. Maybe it was you…
