What do I do?
Beginning June 1st–come to the library and pick up a reading log. Count the number of pages you read and record the books and pages in your log. When you’ve read 1,000 pages, bring your reading log into the library for a $5 Amazon Gift Certificate. You’ll also be entered into our summer-end prize drawing for an iPod Nano* when you sign up and when you turn in your completed log! Every teen is eligible to earn one Amazon Gift Certificate during the summer. The first day to turn in your completed log is Monday, June 13th.
I want more prizes!
1. Get a second reading log, read 1,000 more pages and you’ll have another chance at the prize drawing for the iPod Nano. You can do this as many times as you want up until August 17th.
2. ¿Donde Esta? Beginning June 20th there will be a weekly clue in the library and on our website that describes a famous book-related place. Guess the place and you’ll be entered into that week’s drawing for prizes like Pinkberry and Jamba Juice gift certificates. You’ll also get another prize drawing entry for the iPod Nano!
3. Take part in the “Silent Library Amazing Race” teen-only event on August 18th (see the library calendar) for even more chances to win cool stuff!
What should I read?
