Want to make a difference in your community? Then become a PVLD Teen Volunteer! Please note you must be at least 14 years old to volunteer. There are 3 ways for teens to volunteer at the library:
1) Join the Peninsula Teen Activity Council (PTAC)! At our monthly meetings we plan craft activities for little kids, select books for the Young Adult section and discuss how the library can be more teen-friendly!
2) Do you like helping people? Do you like working with computers? When you become a Computer Docent at the library, you can do both! After attending a training session with the Automation Department, Computer Docents will be able to assist patrons who have problems with the computers here at Peninsula Center Library. You can choose your days and hours, as the schedule allows. For more information click here.
3) Are you interested in helping out in the Circulation department by sorting and shelving books? Become a Circ volunteer at the Peninsula Center Library! You can choose your days and hours, as the schedule allows. For more information click here.
All teens, age 14 and up, are welcome to volunteer!
